Stratergy over content

I hit a wall last week as my score stopped increasing and actually started following a negative trend. I just realized what works for other does not work for me . OG 11 is not really helping me . I need to get better at strategy - something OG 11 is not good at . Kaplan 800 came to my rescue. Found the strategy I was seeking and I feel very content. Found my weak areas and feel more confident. Love KAPLAN . 2 weeks of KAPLAN saw a 250 point increase in my score when I took the GRE 8 years back . Time to KICK SOME ASS on the GMAT . Feel Pumped... Hopefully by the end of this week I have the confidence I need to see me closer to taking the test .

Jump start the GMAT prep

OK - I sit here writing about hitting the lowest point in my preparation . My scores have been consistently reducing . My percentile in quant has gone from a 90% to a 65% and that took with it the wind from my sail . Living an antisocial life and trying to give all my time to the GMAT prep in addition to my marathon training - I am exhausted and this is hurting my daily life including work . I feel so unmotivated . So now what ???

LOOK for Inspiration . Took the weekend off to get some sleep and then caught a movie - a sports movie that did the trick . It has refreshed the fighter in me and I am all motivated to crack the GMAT. Need to replan my application process since I am a month away and due to all the slacking - I am very close to the first round off applications.
Stay tuned ... time to move the quant score back to 90 percentile mark and not to forget the verbal to 65 or 70 percentile- been very consistent there.

2 months through and I have still not started studying for the GMAT --- Now the Application for 08 seems to be out. That puts me in a situation - to force myself to prepare and get teh GMAT out of the way so that I can apply for round 1 in oct . fingers crossed - I am moving forward hoping this move will help stop the procastination.

Inspiration .

Been fighting with my laziness and lack of focus to make time for an MBA. Seemed to have hit a blank patch and was looking for some inspiration to get me out of the rut. Found some inspiration on another bloggers page. Guess I am not alone and joining the blogger community seems to work for me and help build a support group to collaborate with folks who are looking for company on their journey to getting into MBA School and beyond. With this model - inspiration comes standard.
